Inbound Journeys

In 2022, the Friendship Force club from Central North Carolina (Winston-Salem area) visited our club May 15 - May 21.  The host coordinator for the journey was Rella Hadley.     To read a report of the Journey, CLICK HERE

In September of 2022 we hosted students in the State Department's ALEX program.   In this program clubs host 10-12 young people, aged 17-19, for one week. The students that we  hosted are from Jordan and Surinam.  Mimi Gingold and Katie Campbell were coordinators for this visit.   Click here to listen to a 20 minute interview on WVXU with members of our club and with the visiting students.  Once you click on the link, scroll down to 'Friendship Force welcomes students from Suriname and Jordan' and click on 'Listen'.

For 2023, we will be hosting the Friendship Force club from Lower Columbia Washington from October 8 through October 15.  Connie Taggart is the Host Coordinator.

During a visit with our club we often lead our guests on a tour of downtown Cincinnati, visit the Underground Railroad Freedom Center, the Cincinnati Art Museum, The Cincinnati Museum Center, Amish Country, the Krohn Conservatory, or other sites in our area.  We normally begin the week with a Welcome pot luck brunch or dinner and then gather again for an all club dinner or luncheon on the last day of the visit.
