September 16-23, 2024 .we will host the Friendship Force club from Greater Seattle Washington.
We are in the planning stage for a visit from 19 ambassadors from the Greater Seattle FF Club in September. They will arrive on Monday, September 16 and depart on Monday, September 23, 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity to make new friends from the West Coast. Our Welcome Dinner will be on Tuesday, September 17 at 6 pm at Northern Hills United Methodist Church, 6700 Winton Rd, Cincinnati 45224 during our General Meeting. Everyone is invited to attend and may bring guests. Our club will provide the meat, and members are encouraged to bring a side dish to share. Since we had mostly meat at our last meeting, I would like to suggest that we sign up for salads, vegetables, potatoes, mac ‘n cheese, vegan/vegetarian dishes, and dessert. We will bring a sign-up sheet to our picnic in July, or you may send the name of the side dish you plan to bring to Rella. We have a tentative schedule of events, which includes most of the activities their club has requested. As the time gets closer, we will share the list with our members and give you the opportunity to join us for one activity, a day of activities or the entire week. We currently have Home Hosts for 12 or 13 people and need Home Hosts for 3 more couples and 1 single female. Day Hosts are also needed to give our Home Hosts a free day during the week. Seattle Club getting a river cruise view of Cincinnati
In October, 2023, the Friendship Force club from Lower Columbia Washington visited our club October 6 - October 13. The host coordinator for the Journey was Connie Taggart.

During a visit with our club we often lead our guests on a tour of downtown Cincinnati, visit the Underground Railroad Freedom Center, the Cincinnati Art Museum, The Cincinnati Museum Center, Amish Country, the Krohn Conservatory, or other sites in our area. We normally begin the week with a Welcome pot luck brunch or dinner and then gather again for an all club dinner or luncheon on the last day of the visit.
